It’s time for strong, experienced leadership. It's time for change.
I, Brad Pander, am that change.
I will write the next great chapter for New York City.
About Brad
Brad Pander is a big-hearted, equity-focused citywide leader who’s devoted his life to fighting for New York City — and ensuring every handshake is a transformative act of social justice.

A bold government reformer, innovator, husband, radically inclusive intersectional feminist, and dad, Brad fights every day to deconstruct oppressive systems, dismantle systemic inequities, and nurture a city where every voice, from Park Slope to North Brooklyn, is uplifted and empowered.

Brad's Priorities

Strong Leadership - Revered by Communities of Color
NYC’s future demands a radically progressive approach from City Hall to tackle systemic oppression.
A self-described voice for the disenfranchised, Brad has the lived experience and allyship credentials necessary to lead the city toward a more intersectionally aware tomorrow.
Safer & More Secure
Despite the fear of rampant crime being largely a construct of overactive imaginations and media sensationalism, Brad recognizes the importance of addressing these feelings of unease. Through trauma-informed urban planning, mindfulness training for first responders, and reimagining policing as a community-led dialogue, Brad will ensure every New Yorker has the tools they need to thrive — and survive.

More Affordable & Livable
NYC faces an affordability crisis that is crushing families and straining the city’s economy. As a homeowner in Park Slope, Brad recognizes the privilege of his position and stands as an unwavering ally to tenants and folx who rent.
With Brad as Mayor, New York City will have a mayor who acknowledges their struggles, empathizes deeply, and reflects on the weight of owning property in a gentrified neighborhood.

Focused on the Future
Coming out of the pandemic, and with a lack of leadership at the top, NYC feels stuck, with little vision for the future. We’re failing to prepare for the climate emergencies we know are coming. Brad pledges to create a task force, host a series of community listening sessions, and ultimately propose a bold long-term investment strategy—rooted in deep introspective reflection—that will guide us through rising sea levels, intermittent compost compliance, and other threats to the very fabric of our city.

Bringing New Yorkers Together
New Yorkers have faced crises before — the fiscal crisis of the 1970s, 9/11, Superstorm Sandy, COVID-19 — and we prevailed by coming together across lines of difference to serve and protect each other, and to insist on a shared future. Brad knows that the best way to lead is to be everything to everyone. “To stand for nothing is to stand for everything," he often says. Equipped with a master's degree in anthropology, Brad Pander’s leadership and policies will bring a trauma-informed, intersectional lens to every issue facing our city.
